Agent should have offered more alternatives, e.g. stay longer, room upgrade. Hotel was ok, only birds were very disturbing at breakfast time

Mauritius - Indian Resort / Hilton Resort - April 2007
A splendid and well organized holiday. Our very special thanks go to: 1. Mrs. Natasha Charlot. From the beginning she was the should of courtesy and assistance - delivered with a level of efficiency which I have not really encountered before in many travels. She has the ability to inspire in her clients the feeling that they are the most important people in the world! 2. Mr. Sanjeev Ittoosingh - Sanjeev met us at the airport and escorted us to our first hotel. We had met him on a previous trip three or four years ago and he recalled us well!! He was a very welcome face to see at the airport in the early morning. He drove us to and from our hotel with skill and relaxed care. He is quiet, very mature and we have always enjoyed his company and his knowledgeable conversation about his country. He had overseen our car hiring arrangements and all of the hotel documentation etc. Everything worked perfectly and it was extremely reassuring for us to know that he was only a phone call away and clearly able to deal with any evantuality. I had had some worries about the return trip to SSR Airport and catching our plane, but he arrived early for the pick up at the hotel. He is an outstanding man and should he ever visit Perth he is most welcome to stay with us in our home. The 2 hotels were excellent. The Hilton, as would be expected, had the edge in refinement but its ambiance was a little spoiled by a plague of flies, particularly at breakfast. The staff in both hotels, and the cuisine, more than made up for that problem though! I did find the costs of Internet access expensive at the Indian Resort and at Hilton compared to Le Meridien (where we spent our first week). However, the total experience was quite delightful and compared as very much better than Fiji (where we went last year) and other comparable tropical resorts.

This was an unforgettable vacation. This was made possible because of Sanjeev, he is a trustworthy ad excellent guide who showed us a different and positive side of Mauritius. Mauritius - Le Sakoa Hotel / Sands Resort - March 2007
Booking arrangement was excellent. At Le Sakoa - the 4 course dinner was excellent. At Sands Resort - The food was ok, but you get bored after one day. Not at all as tasty as at Le Sakoa We emailed Natasha (reservation) a lot with simple questions like - what will the decoration look like? Natasha was great and always answered our questions. But this could make a FAQ on your website answering all this and showing pictures. THANKS FOR A GREAT WEDDING!!!
