Mauritius - Maritim Hotel - September 2005

Booking arrangement through Maurisun was excellent. Maritim Hotel is a very well run hotel with good rooms and food. 3 things were not so good:

1. Coffee and wine are much too expensive

2. Swimming pools are too cold for young children

3. They shouldn't allow stray dogs and cats to roam around the hotel (including the bar and restaurant). This is unhygienic and not pleasant. It is also cruel to animals.

Otherwise, it is a very good hotel for that budget and we enjoyed staying there. The staff are excellent and work very hard to make it a good hotel to stay at.
