“Lakaz Chamarel”, actually meaning “Chamarel house”, is tucked away in a small valley at the foot of Piton Canot Mountain with magnificent tropical gardens encompassing 10 hectares. The charming architecture of the Creole style cottages blends in harmoniously with the natural environment; thus combining authenticity, good taste and refinement with simplicity and friendliness in a relaxing, comfortable way. Lakaz Chamarel consists of a main building with sitting room, kitchen and dining room open to the guests and the adjoining host’s quarters as well as several guest cottages. Scattered around the main building, each cottage is decorated in a different theme, thus representing the diversity of different cultures on the island.
